The Midnight Hours

The culmination of years of musical dedication and experience has manifested itself into the soulful, feel good sound of The Midnight Hours. Catchy melodies and sticky rhythms poured into great song writing has inspired a unique blend of Blues, Rock, and Reggae. Fresh out of the Vancouver Surf Rock scene this power trio is already making a name for itself filling the dance halls and giving the audience an experience of what true rock and roll soul really is. After winning the Fox Seeds Competition in 2009, singer/songwriter/guitarist, Sean Simpson, left his band Goodbye Beatdown to persue a more traditional and meaningful style of rock and roll. In early January, 2010, Sean hooked up with local powerhouse drummer Devo Forsythe and ex Yesterday's Forgotten bass player Grant Easingwood to form what is now known as The Midnight Hours. They just recently recorded their first EP entitled "Route 66" at the legendary Turtle Studios in White Rock BC. Watch out for these boys as they set out on their upcoming Western Canadian Tour playing their hearts out giving back what's been taken away from today's music.
